TIME FREIGHT Express. a Division of DPD Laser (Pty) Ltd

Time Freight was established by Ivor Keppler as a KwaZulu-Natal road-based operator in 1984. The business was expanded in 1991 with the purchase of Cheetah Express, to incorporate Gauteng and the Mpumalanga regions. In 1999 Time Freight was acquired by The Laser Group and in April 2002 amalgamated with Goeie Hoop Vervoer (a Western/ Northern Cape operator). Time Freight thus became a national road express operator trading under Laser Logistics (Pty) Limited.

During January 2007 the Laser Group entered into new partnership venture with Geopost, a parcel distributor specialist made up of Express subsidiaries of the Group La Poste. Time Freight and Dawn Wing will now trade under the name DPD Laser Express Logistics (Pty) Ltd. This has given Time Freight and especially Dawn Wing international exposure.

Etienne van Ravesteyn - Chief Executive Officer
Etienne (B.Com) has been with Time Freight since 1991 and was previously the Finance Director.

Mike Burton
Mike has been with Time Freight since 1987. Mike controls the North and South Coast, East Griqualand, Durban and Pinetown. Mike also look after Pietermatitzburg, Estcourt and Ladysmith.

Dave O'Gorman
Dave has been with Time Freight since 1990. Started the Johannesburg depot and controls the Gauteng/Mpumalanga/Northern Province and North West Province.

Amit Devir
Amit (MBA), plays an executive role in the Western Cape and Northern Cape regions. He is a qualified engineer.

Charles Edwardes
Charles has been with Time Freight since 1996 and was previously Human Resources Manager (responsible for Northern Natal, Free State and Eastern Cape).
